How does the course work, how much time does it take, what if you can’t keep up, and how long will you have access to the lessons? We’ve prepared brief answers to the most common questions prospective students have before starting and throughout their studies. For each topic, you’ll also find links to more detailed information.
Our courses are currently in preparation. The study system described here is the one we use in our courses. Subscribe to the NutriCourses Newsletter for new articles, practical nutrition insights, and updates when enrolment opens.
Once you gain access to the learning platform, you work through the individual lessons step by step, continuously check your knowledge with tests, and for selected topics complete assignments in the ZOF learning app. The specific process varies by course and by the chosen study format.
More: How the study works
No. Complete beginners without prior formal education in nutrition can enroll in our courses. The same courses are also taken by people who already have some knowledge or experience and want to develop it further.
More: What nutrition knowledge you need before studying
For most courses, plan on approximately 20–40 minutes of study per day. The exact time depends on the scope of the lesson and how you work with the material.
For the Nutrition and Supplementation Advisor course, students report on average about 30–40 minutes per day; for Nutrition in Sport, around 30 minutes per day. If a lesson also includes an assignment in the ZOF app, usually add another 20–30 minutes. For NutriChef, the theory and a practice test take about 20–30 minutes; practical work with recipes and meal plans then requires more time.
You don’t have to study every day. Once opened, lessons remain available and you can adapt their completion to your schedule.
More: Length and pace of study
You decide when to open each lesson and can return to any lesson later whenever your schedule allows.

I enrolled in the nutrition advisor course of my own volition, and I am extremely glad that I did, as it provided me with a wealth of new knowledge in an understandable manner. Despite significant apprehensions, I also undertook the state examination, which gave me new life experiences and the courage not to be afraid. Thanks to the state examination, I also had the opportunity to meet Mr. and Mrs. Jelínek, who impressed me with their warmth and inspiring nature. I would like to thank them greatly for their excellent preparation for the exams. In the future, I would like to help people with their meal plans and dispel the notion that healthy eating is expensive, full of hard-to-find exotic foods, and that weight reduction only means hunger and unappetizing meals. Often, just a few small adjustments are enough, and the results will not be long in coming.

I couldn´t even wish for better teacher (I would call him guru in nutrition). Before course of Martin Jelínek, in my spare time I was interested in nutrition, however thanks to this course I realized how many imperfections I was suffering from. I would like to thank Mr. Jelínek who always accommodated me, when I needed an advice. I understood important things and gained new perspective on nutrition that I wasn´t able to realize before. I also gained vast information in many areas that I needed to make clear. Every day I was looking forward to new lessons and immediately after waking up (with eyes gummed up) I was signing in Student section and enjoyed new information that moved me forward. In future, I am going to educate myself and fulfill further great information in courses of Martin Jelínek. Here it is just guaranteed! :-) Thank you!! :-)

For quite some time, I have been involved in a healthy lifestyle on an amateur level. Over time, I wanted to further educate myself in this field and was looking for ways and places to supplement my knowledge on nutrition issues. Although there is an overwhelming amount of information on this topic on the internet, it can be overwhelming, and it's difficult to discern what is right and what is not. That's when I came across Mr. Jelínek's courses that end with a certificate, as I would like to pursue this field professionally and help people feel healthy and enjoy food without the fear of gaining weight. The courses led by Mr. Jelínek are very well structured; they helped me understand the subject matter from a slightly different perspective and in broader contexts. I was able to apply the vast majority of the knowledge I gained in practice. The courses are conducted very practically and functionally, and I also appreciate the possibility of studying at an individual pace. I was particularly intrigued by the work on meal planning, and I really appreciated the clear breakdown of foods divided into individual groups. This helped me clarify what a varied diet should look like and what foods the overall meal plan should consist of, what rules should be followed, and what nutrient parameters from macronutrients and micronutrients a balanced varied diet should contain. I am also very grateful for the openness and assistance provided by Mr. Jelínek when I didn't understand a topic and for the opportunity to help other people on their journey to a healthier lifestyle. I would definitely highly recommend all the courses I have completed.
