Nutritional values

Nutritional values are key information about the nutrient content in foods, which are essential for the proper functioning of our bodies. These values include the amount of proteins, fats, carbohydrates, fiber, vitamins, and minerals in one serving of food. Nutritional values are often listed on food packaging and help consumers when deciding which foods to include in their diet to achieve balanced and healthy nutrition.

From the perspective of health and nutrition, nutritional values are essential for understanding how different foods can contribute to our overall health. For instance, foods high in saturated fats may increase the risk of heart disease, whereas foods rich in fiber can help prevent digestive problems. Knowledge of nutritional values can thus assist individuals in selecting foods that promote their health and well-being.

Good day Mr. Jelínek,
I would like to ask where I can find comprehensive information on the nutritional values of individual foods, apart from your ZOF. Ideally, it would be in paper form, but I can also print it if necessary.
Thank you for your answer.

The simplified answer is NOWHERE. The fact is there is no unified nutritional database of all foods that simultaneously includes all known and evaluable nutritional characteristics. This is an issue that troubles all companies working with nutritional programs. We are gradually creating our database, which is an arithmetic average of values derived from several nutritional databases used in the USA, Europe, Asia, and Australia. You have to accept that in this field, it is a complicated problem...
