Hello,
I am interested in what effect astaxanthin might have on thrombosis, if any?
Thank you.
Astaxanthin is a powerful antioxidant, and in relation to prothrombotic processes - like other substances with antioxidant properties - it significantly exhibits anti-inflammatory effects, meaning it influences not only the formation of thrombi but also their behavior. In this regard, it is meaningful to use it, i.e., to generally strive to increase antioxidant capacity through the intake of the broadest spectrum of antioxidants, leveraging their synergistic effects.
