Nutri Courses

Jana Schlosserova

I became interested in nutrition during my university studies when I was overweight, started exercising, and lost 10kg, which I have maintained to this day. I tried all sorts of things, and sometimes it was a trial-and-error process. At that time, my diet wasn't the best, which led to frequent illnesses that I treated with medication instead of adjusting my diet, and overall, I didn't feel well for a long time. Then a health food store opened nearby, where health and nutrition lectures were occasionally held, and I attended several of them. This piqued my interest even more, marking the beginning of changes in my diet. Later, my daughter was born, and at seven years old, she was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. She has had it for five years, and no treatment has worked so far. That’s why I decided to enroll in a nutrition advisor course last year. I was looking for a comprehensive approach to nutrition, which I found with Mr. Jelínek. He doesn't promote his own method but looks at nutrition comprehensively and shares this perspective with others. Of course, there was a lot of specialized content, and I couldn't absorb everything 100%. There’s always more to study and search for the most optimal solutions. We are all unique, and different things suit different people. It comes down to practicing and evaluating, which is why I liked the final seminar project. It allowed us to test our acquired knowledge (and it wasn't easy), but it was very beneficial for me. I am very thankful for this course, which enriched the knowledge I had and highly recommend it to others who don't view things from just one perspective. Thank you, Mr. Jelínek, for the opportunity to study with you.
