I work as a pediatrician, and deciding to take a six-month course in Nutrition and Supplementation Counseling has so far been one of the best investments of my time in education. The more we know about medicine today, the more we unfortunately move away from the essence of health and the individuality of the person. We can treat numerous symptoms and have countless medications, but we very often forget the basic pillars of health, which for me are: diet, natural movement, and joy in life. But no one teaches medical students this. No one introduced us during our studies to how incredibly important and sometimes even healing diet can be. And all of this is encompassed in this course. Thanks to Mr. Jelínek's extensive knowledge not only of conventional Western medicine but also of Eastern medicine, the study ultimately offers a holistic view of health. The course helped me supplement a wide range of information on general nutrition, special diets (which unfortunately many doctors are unfamiliar with, do not work with, or even dismiss), dietary supplements, and sports nutrition. Over the years, I have taken a great number of courses, but this one is truly very well-structured, motivating you to think and apply the knowledge gained. Personal meetings and consultations help reinforce the information. Last but not least, I must highlight Mr. Jelínek's personality. Despite his extensive knowledge, he is a kind, humble person, and an excellent teacher. Thank you for your work and for everyone who may not be visible, but without whom these courses would not run so smoothly.
