When I was in the hospital with my third high-risk pregnancy, I shared my room with mothers scheduled for cesarean sections. Most of them had the reason "oversized baby" for the cesarean, as they had gestational diabetes and somehow didn't manage it properly... I wondered if they didn't address it due to poor education or by choice. I myself had diabetes with each of my pregnancies, and I must say that I received completely different dietary information with the first two pregnancies. In the third pregnancy, I decided to manage the diet on my own and must say I had the best-controlled diabetes.
I decided to help other women in managing gestational diabetes because I believe it has an increasing tendency in the population, given the lifestyle we lead. In the future, I would like to delve deeper into prediabetes, which I was diagnosed with, and subsequently type 2 diabetes.
So as not to "shoot from the hip" (just from my experience and information gained during my medical studies), I enrolled in a Diabetes Nutrition Guide course. I am really thrilled with the course; not only did it confirm the correctness of my knowledge, but it unexpectedly broadened my horizons regarding nutrition in all dietary directions. I really like the comprehensive view on diabetes and solving the diet in all possible eating styles. There's something for everyone. I enjoyed creating meal plans in the ZOF application the most, some of which were quite challenging. The course can be managed even with three small children :-)
The course "How to Get Rid of Sweet Addiction" is also very interesting, especially regarding mindset and brain settings. Thank you very much for these courses, and I will certainly not stop at just these two. After the holidays, I plan to take a low-carb diet course because a lower carbohydrate intake suits me, and I want to know as much as possible about it, although much was already covered in the Diabetes Nutrition Guide course. I'm also interested in meditation and children's nutrition.
Thank you once again for these courses, and I look forward to more :-).
