Hello,
I would like to ask if it is possible to obtain enough B12 solely from a plant-based diet, or if it is necessary to supplement it.
Thank you in advance for your response.
Plant sources contain so-called vitamin B12 analogs, which are said to exhibit minimal biological activity in the body. Therefore, it is stated that the consumption of a purely plant-based diet leads to a deficiency of this important substance, and the vegan segment of the population should thus supplement vitamin B12.
