Hello,
Are the nutritional recommendations the same for pancreatitis and Gilbert's syndrome? It's probably clear regarding fats, but what about other recommendations?
Gilbert's syndrome is not as serious a condition as pancreatitis; it is additionally related to liver dysfunction (it is a hereditary genetic disorder in which the liver has difficulty removing bilirubin from the blood). Typically, a light liver diet is recommended for this disorder – compared to the diet intended for pancreatitis, these are relatively "mild" recommendations.
