Green coffee

Green coffee is a type of coffee obtained from unroasted coffee beans. This type of coffee is rich in antioxidants and polyphenols, which are known for their beneficial effects on human health. Green coffee also contains chlorogenic acid, which may help lower blood sugar levels and suppress appetite, making it useful for people trying to lose or maintain weight.

In terms of nutrition, green coffee is also a good source of energy because it contains caffeine. Caffeine can help increase metabolism and improve physical performance. Additionally, green coffee may also help improve digestion and support liver health. It is important to note that although green coffee has many potential health benefits, it should be consumed in moderation and as part of a balanced diet.

Hello,

I have a question regarding green coffee from unroasted beans. I was intrigued by the information on the packaging, which states that it is ideal AFTER exercise – I can't quite understand what benefit this might have. I would rather expect that after exercise, I would need something more grounding and relaxing, rather than a stimulant. Could it possibly have some other benefit?

Thank you.

Green coffee is unroasted, which means its effects differ dramatically. It contains significantly higher concentrations of (not only) antioxidant substances, and in this respect, it might be advantageous to use it (or its extracts, which can be caffeine-free) post-workout. However, if they contain caffeine, be cautious about such recommendations, as they are highly counterproductive (not all supplement manufacturers have the ability to present meaningful recommendations, which is unfortunately a global issue).
