Acetyl-glutathione

Acetyl-glutathione is a special form of glutathione, which is an important antioxidant in the body. Glutathione is a molecule that the body naturally produces to combat free radicals and toxic substances. Acetyl-glutathione is a modified form of glutathione that is more easily absorbed and more effective. Acetyl-glutathione has the ability to support detoxification, the immune system, improve liver function, and protect the body from oxidative stress. It helps enhance brain performance, supports heart health, and may aid in the treatment of certain chronic diseases. It is also important for maintaining healthy aging, as glutathione levels in the body naturally decrease with age.

Good day,
what is the difference (for a person who wants to purchase this dietary supplement for its antioxidant effects with the expected impact on reducing the body's inflammatory activity) between glutathione and acetyl-glutathione? There is quite a significant price difference.

Standalone glutathione has low bioavailability because hydrochloric acid in the stomach quickly dissolves it. The acetylated form of glutathione has much higher stability, thus a significantly larger amount of this antioxidant reaches the cells.
